These Terms apply to all visitors, users, customers, and anyone who accesses or uses our website or services.

2. Our Services

Breedo Maintenance provides professional home maintenance, repair, and improvement services to residential and commercial properties within Margate, Florida and surrounding areas. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Painting (interior and exterior)
  • Plumbing repairs and installations
  • Electrical work
  • Roofing maintenance and repairs
  • Carpentry and woodwork
  • House cleaning and sanitization
  • Driveway and patio services
  • Drainage solutions
  • Landscaping

  • General handyman services

All services are performed by licensed, insured, and experienced professionals in accordance with applicable Florida building codes and regulations.

3. Quote Requests and Estimates

  • All quotes provided through our website or during on-site assessments are free of charge and carry no obligation.
  • Quotes are estimates based on the information provided and our initial assessment. Final pricing may vary if the actual scope of work differs from the original assessment.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing if material costs change significantly between the quote date and the scheduled service date.
  • Any additional work beyond the original scope must be agreed upon in writing before it is performed, and additional charges will be communicated beforehand.

4. Scheduling and Access

  • Service appointments are scheduled based on mutual availability. We make every reasonable effort to arrive within the agreed-upon time window.
  • You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the work area. This includes clearing the work area of personal belongings, securing pets, and ensuring utilities are accessible as needed.
  • If we are unable to access the property at the scheduled time due to circumstances beyond our control, a rescheduling fee may apply.
  • We will communicate any delays as promptly as possible and work with you to find a suitable alternative time.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment terms will be outlined in the service agreement or quote provided before work begins.
  • For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work commences. The deposit amount will be clearly stated in the quote.
  • Final payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the work unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in writing.
  • We accept various forms of payment including cash, check, and electronic transfers. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of service.
  • Late payments may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance after 30 days.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule a service appointment with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of one hour of labor.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule services due to severe weather conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, no cancellation fee will be charged.
  • If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will provide as much advance notice as possible and prioritize rescheduling at your earliest convenience.

7. Workmanship Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work with the following guarantees:

  • All workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 90 days from the date of completion unless otherwise specified in writing.
  • If any defect in workmanship is identified within the guarantee period, we will return to correct the issue at no additional cost.
  • This guarantee covers defects in our workmanship only and does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, natural disasters, or subsequent modifications by others.
  • Material warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers and are separate from our workmanship guarantee. We will provide manufacturer warranty information where applicable.

8. Liability and Insurance

  • Breedo Maintenance is fully licensed and insured in the State of Florida. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
  • Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service in question.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects in materials or structures not visible during our initial assessment, or damage caused by events beyond our control (including but not limited to acts of nature, hurricanes, floods, or other force majeure events).
  • We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance to protect both our team and our clients.
  • Any claims must be reported within 7 days of discovering the issue for warranty and liability purposes.

9. Property and Belongings

  • We take every precaution to protect your property during the course of our work, including using drop cloths, protective coverings, and careful handling of materials.
  • We recommend that you remove or secure valuable, fragile, or sentimental items from the work area before our arrival.
  • Any accidental damage to your property caused directly by our team during the performance of agreed-upon services will be addressed and resolved promptly at our expense.
  • We are not responsible for damage to items left in the work area that were not disclosed to us prior to the start of work.

10. Website Use

By using our website, you agree to the following:

  • You will not use our website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the website.
  • You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website, server, or any connected systems.
  • You will not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape content from our website without our written permission.
  • All content on our website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design — is the intellectual property of Breedo Maintenance and is protected by copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

12. Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving any disputes fairly and efficiently:

  • Mediation: If we cannot resolve a dispute directly, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action. Mediation will be conducted in Broward County, Florida.
  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in the courts of Broward County, Florida.

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: hurricanes, tropical storms, flooding, fire, earthquakes, pandemics, government orders, supply chain disruptions, or any other acts of God or nature. In such events, we will communicate with you promptly and reschedule services as soon as reasonably possible.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Breedo Maintenance, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or any misrepresentation of information provided to us.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.

16. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
